Results from Nov. 16’s Blue League games played at Walter J. Baird Middle School:

GIRLS

Sam Houston 11, Byars Dowdy 7

Skyy Spencer scored five points for Sam Houston while Khrista Cartwright, Ellie Forrest and AP Glenn each tossed in two.

Promise Manier finished with five points and Channing Randolph the other two for Byars Dowdy.

The teams played to a 4-4 fifth-quarter tie. Lauren Rojas and Rolanda Dowell each dropped in two points for Sam Houston while Brynley Derr and Ella Riley tossed in two apiece for Byars Dowdy.

Castle Heights 24, Carroll-Oakland 11

Gracie Jo Lindsey scored seven points and Finley Braundmeier six for Castle Heights. Millie Donegan and Rilynn Landrum each finished with four points, Asiyah Rhodes two and Avery McDowell a free throw.

Anna Lynn Walters finished with four points, Jayden Rooks three and Laekyn King and Willow Reeves two each for Carroll-Oakland.

Castle Heights won the fifth quarter 6-0 behind four points by Brinleigh Reevesand two by Kyah Woodmore.

Coles Ferry 34, Jones Brummett 3

Ariell Schutt scored 12 points and Kate Lanning 10 for Coles Ferry. Leslie Locke and Kebe Amari each finished with four points and Alivia Robertson and Yana Patel two apiece.

Camilla Humes had all three Jones Brummett points.

Jones Brummett’s Charlotte Young scored the only two fifth-period points.

BOYS

Byars Dowdy 20, Sam Houston 5

Elijah Moore tossed in 10 points for Byars Dowdy while Lucas Spann, Bryce Gray and Kelson Dawson each threw in three and Camden McFarland a free throw.

Baylor Hill had four points and Kyren Jacobson a free throw for Sam Houston.

DeMarcus Foster scored both Sam Houston points in the fifth period while Jace Neal countered with a free throw for Byars Dowdy.

Carroll-Oakland 37, Castle Heights 18

Ander Scruggs scored 19 points for Carroll-Oakland while John Michael Ackerman finished with four, Peyton Wright and Brixton Klapper three apiece and Frank Watson, Bronx Buehler, Jase Ward and Jaxon Israel two each.

Marshall Rozell racked up 15 points and LaJuan Horne the other three for Castle Heights.

Carroll-Oakland outscored Castle Heights 6-2 in the fifth quarter as Cooper Hunt had four points and Buehler two for the Eagles. Lamarion Searcy scored two for the Knights.

Jones Brummett 15, Coles Ferry 14

Weston White and Tyler Spain each scored five points, Calvin Sells three and Tredel McKinley two for Jones Brummett.

Lamazio Weir scored six for Coles Ferry while Keyshawn Desir and Grayson Lowery each finished with four.

Coles Ferry’s Elijah Medina scored the only two fifth-period points.
