Mt. Juliet Police finished the delivery of a pizza after the delivery driver was arrested.
On Sunday, license plate readers alerted MJPD officers of a vehicle associated with a man wanted in Rutherford County.
The driver, a 34-year-old Smyrna man, was wanted for failure to appear on drug charges.
The vehicle was located on Lebanon Road near Park Glen Drive. The driver was arrested and booked into the Wilson County Jail.
However, the driver was busy with a pizza delivery order, so police say an officer completed the delivery to the customer waiting on their pizza.
鈥淛ust another way we serve 鈥 even if it means delivering pizza,鈥 MJPD said on social media.
