She was born June 4, 1926, to the late Dewey Sampson Claridy and Clara Della Barton Claridy.

Kathrine Ruth Claridy Inman Burton, 98, of Hartsville, Tennessee, passed away Monday, March 31, 2025.
She was born June 4, 1926, to the late Dewey Sampson Claridy and Clara Della Barton Claridy.
She is preceded in death by her parents; husband and children鈥檚 father, Charlie Lee Inman; and second husband, Francis Calvin Burton; her daughters, Ruth Anne Inman and Peggy Lee Inman Belcher; son-in-law, David Belcher; and grandson, Nicholas John-Paul LaCorte.
Mrs. Inman was a clinical nurse with Doctors Bratton, Painter Kelly & Bhat for 17 yrs. She loved gardening and enjoyed always having something blooming in her yard.
She was an avid quilter and made hundreds of quilts and quilt-tops over many years. Each of her children, grandchildren and great grandchildren have enjoyed the fine colorful patterns, hand stitched especially for them.
She loved word games. Most of all, she loved spending time with her children, sisters and brothers.
Mrs. Inman is survived by Sandra Sue Ford (Jerry), of Hartsville, Charles DeWayne (Bud) Inman (Elaine), of Brush Creek, Tennessee, Janice Kay Smith, of Lebanon, Tennessee, Dewey Daniel Inman (Carolyn), of Richmond Indiana, Alyce Faye Sims (Scott), of Hermitage Tennessee, Brenda Gaye LaCorte (Ben), of Raleigh, North Carolina, Ray Douglas Inman (Teena), of Hartsville; stepson, Donald Burton, of Citrus Heights, California; 16 grandchildren; 19 great-grandchildren; 18 great-great- grandchildren; special nephew, Billy F. Claridy, of Hartsville; and other nieces and nephews from the Claridy and Inman family.
Funeral services will be held in the chapel of Anthony Funeral Home at 11 a.m. Friday, April 4, 2025, conducted by Daniel Kemp and Mrs. Ruth鈥檚 Family Members. Interment will follow in the Hartsville Memorial Gardens.
Pallbearers will be Jason Ford, Chris Inman, Russ Belcher, Justin Smith, Michael Inman, Layton LaCorte and Greg Inman.
Honorary pallbearers will be Nick Wrinkle, Brent Inman, Bryan Inman, Adam Ford, Hunter Ford, Alex Ford, Andrew Ford, Drew Inman and Alex Belcher.
Flower Girls will be Kim Wrinkle, Courtney Smith, Whitney Peek, Brittany Brown and Layla McDaniel.
Visitation with the family will be from 9 a.m. until the time of services.
