For the second straight week, Cumberland鈥檚 Matilda Lind has been named the Mid-South Conference Women鈥檚 Golfer of the Week, the league office announced Monday.
Lind, a sophomore from Sweden, led the Phoenix at the Emmanuel Spring Invite, finishing tied for 12th in a competitive field of 70 golfers. She carded rounds of 75 and 80 on the par-72, 6,928-yard course, securing her second top-15 finish of the spring season.
Lind carded four birdies in the tournament, posting two in each round.
This marks Lind鈥檚 second MSC Golfer of the Week honor this season and her fourth of her career.
The Phoenix will be back on the course on March 24-25 at the Blue Mountain Invitational.
