The Hartsville/Trousdale County Planning Commission met for a regular session on Monday, Dec. 9 at 7 p.m. at the Hartsville/Trousdale County Courthouse.
The minutes from the Nov. 12, 2024, meeting were approved.
The was a change to the meeting agenda. A rezoning request by Dennis Goke for 10.78 cares for R1 to R3 at church St (Map 27 Parcel 3.12) in the 7th Civil District for development with a PUD agreement was removed. Information was given to the planning commission members for revies. Discussion was tabled until a later date.
A preliminary plat for a 11-lot subdivision on 7.15 acres at 345 Sam Beasley Road (May 026 Parcel 37.04) by L & E Properties Developers LLC in the 7th Civil District was removed from the agenda.
Chair John Kerr reported that three interviews for the open Building Inspector position had been scheduled. Two applicants did not show. It is expected that Mayor McCall will make an announcement on the position at the January 2025 meeting.
A preliminary plat for a 5-lot subdivision of 5.8 acres by Fleming Homes on Sulphur College Road (Map 18 Parcels 4.42,4.43,4.44) in the 7th Civil District was approved unanimously.
The Planning Commission meets on the second Monday of the month at 7 p.m. in the Hartsville/Trousdale County Courthouse.
