Wilson County Mayor Randall Hutto invites the public to attend a panel discussion on 鈥淧ublic Safety鈥 with police and sheriff鈥檚 office speakers on Tuesday, Feb. 4 from 7:30-9 a.m. at the Farm Bureau Expo Center in Lebanon.
Mayor Hutto is continuing the 鈥淟ooking Into the Future鈥 series, which began last year to share how partners in the county and its cities have prepared for the future. The panel includes Sheriff Robert Bryan, Watertown Police Chief Mike Henderlight, Mt. Juliet Police Chief Michael Mullins and Deputy Chief Tyler Chandler as well as representatives from the Lebanon Police Department and others to discuss issues of public safety.
Join us to learn more about safety measures leveraging technology, the increase in Artificial Intelligence (AI) crimes and tips on how to safeguard yourself, incidents involving mental health issues and how the co-responders add a layer of protection, school safety and the Paws on Patrol Program.
These are just some of the topics which may be discussed in this informative session. Vendors will display information in the breakfast networking area available from 7:30-8 a.m. followed by the program from 8-9 a.m.
Admission is free. RSVP to shawsu@wilsoncountytn.gov or call Mayor Hutto’s office at 615-444-1383. This is the first in a series of three sessions in 2025.
