Mr. Roger Dean Owen, 69, passed from this life Sunday, Dec. 15, 2024, in Manchester, Tennessee.
Mr. Owen was born in Lafayette, Tennessee, to his parents Claudie Ray Owen and Willa Faye Bray Owen.
He worked at AEDC for 30+ years doing maintenance and testing. He enjoyed spending time with his family, especially his precious grandchildren and he loved motorcycles.
However, his greatest passion was in the benevolence and brotherly love he found in the Masonic bodies. In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by his two sisters, Martha Jenkins and Wanda Owen; stepson, Shawn Holdaway; and sister-in-law, Alice Owen.
He is survived by his wife of 23 years, Patti Owen; his daughter, Jacqueline Whipple (Jason); his son, Joshua Owen (Megan); stepdaughter, Cindy Rabenstein (Chris); four grandchildren, Brady Whipple, Ava Whipple, Corbin Whipple and Jessa Whipple; and step- grandson, Wesley Rabenstein (Staci).
Visitation will be held Wednesday, Dec. 18, 2024, from 2-4 p.m. at Central Funeral Home. A Masonic service will immediately follow at 4 p.m. in the chapel of Central Funeral Home.
